Supported tokens

openLend’s and openOracle’s accounting assumes that transferring amount of a token moves exactly amount, and that balances only change through transfers. Supported:
  • Standard vanilla ERC20s.
  • USDT-style ERC20s that deviate from the standard only in missing or non-boolean return values. Transfers and approvals go through SafeERC20, which handles them.
  • Native ETH, represented as address(0) in lending arrangements and funded via msg.value.
Unsupported:
  • Fee-on-transfer tokens. The amount received differs from the amount sent, which breaks collateral and debt accounting.
  • Rebasing / elastic-supply tokens. Balances change underneath stored amounts.
  • Hook / callback tokens (ERC777-style) and any token that hands control to the sender or receiver during a transfer.
